Forever a Titan: Remembering Prodbytytaan
Mark, known to the community as Prodbytytaan, was a Zambian producer who joined WAVS in 2022.
Tytaan‘s catalog slowly grew over time to a total of 155 samples across 12 sample packs.
He produced for Vory, Zādok, Cousin Stizz, FLVME, and others.

“LUV SCARZ VOL 3“, Tytaan’s most popular sample pack.
We knew Tytaan well through the lens of the platform, he was always eager to provide feedback and opinions on how the WAVS platform could level up. He was as meticulous in discussing ideas as he was in creating his art. Tytaan‘s catalog has been sampled thousands of times and we’re honored we got to be a part of his record Made Me This Way with Vory.
We asked two of his closest friends and collaborators, Sisa and Trustmelucien to share a few words about who Tytaan was.

Sisa
Sisa: Tytaan4Ever.
Mark, known to his friends and the producer community as Tytaan, was one of those people whose presence didn’t need to be loud to be felt. Even in simple conversation, there was a sense of him being fully there, like nothing about the moment was too small to matter.
Looking out for people never felt like effort or obligation to him. He didn’t hesitate to step in or try to find a way to help. Not for recognition, or to be seen, that’s just who he was. He picked up on things you didn’t always say directly, and made space for you without turning it into something you had to acknowledge or repay. It was almost like a default setting to him.
A lot of who he was came from what he was working toward. His family meant everything to him, it shaped how he moved. He pushed himself with a quiet determination, putting in the work with the belief that it would lead somewhere meaningful for them. That one day, everything he had been building would come back in a way that counts, and makes it all worth it. It was central to him, and you could see it in his work ethic.
He was truly disciplined in his craft, especially with music. He would sit with ideas, break them apart, rebuild, adjust small details until it felt right. His sound had texture, depth, and intention. There was patience in his creative process, but also pride, he wasn’t interested in half finished anything. If he was putting his name on it, it had to be true to him.
What i’ll miss the most about him is his humour. It was so natural to him, just sharp timing, random remarks that would catch you off guard, and a spirit that could shift your whole mood without trying. Even on heavy days, he had a way of pulling out a laugh from you, sometimes from the most unexpected, it just brought so much light and a feeling that everything was going to be okay. That energy stays with you, and you only really realise how rare it is when it’s no longer there.
Ty, was a real one in every sense that matters. Someone who gave, built, and left behind more than just memory.
I’ll miss you forever, thank you for always having my back and just being everything you were.

Trustmelucien
Trustmelucien: Tytaan wasnt just someone i worked with, he was someone i grew alongside with as a person.
We were both part of the same sample journey, building on wavs, creating ideas, and learning in real time. he had a way of making music feel effortless but more importantly he inspired the people around him without even trying.
As a producer he was unique, his sound and the way he approached music always stood out to me. he motivated me to take this seriously and keep going.
The conversations, what we built and the ideas is something i will always carry with me. his impact goes way beyond the music.
We encourage you to sample Tytaan‘s catalog and keep his legacy alive. People aren’t immortal, but songs very well could be.

Tytaan4ever.
