Royalty tiers are shown transparently while you browse, and you don't owe anything until a song passes 1M streams or is released by a major label.

Yes, WAVS has a standalone desktop app with a DAW bridge plugin. Here's how it works: Users load the WAVS DAW bridge on an instrument track and then open the standalone app to sync them together. Once that's done, WAVS can detect the BPM and playhead position in from your workstation, modifying the sample playback in real time to match the tempo and position in your project. DAW sync is available on the Pro and Elite plans only.

Yes. If you run out before your cycle resets, you can purchase additional credits any time. Just click the green "Add credits" button in the top menu or your account dashboard.

Yes. Credits roll over and stay on your account for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel the subscription, your credits will be reset to zero after thirty days.

No. WAVS does not offer a generative AI model and is not training one. If that ever changes, we're committed to voluntary artist opt-in and will not train commercial models on creator work without permission. WAVS was built by producers, for producers, and we'll always champion original human creators. Our terms of service for creators forbids the use of AI generated music.

If a sample carries royalty terms, you can clear it automatically by registering your track with us, or request custom terms through a form that contacts the creator. Clearance applies once your song reaches a million streams or is released by a major label. You can generate a license using our standard terms or request your own.
