List your plugin

The WAVS Plugin Directory is a fact-checked index read by working producers. Listing is free and editorial: you send the facts, we verify them against your own documentation, and your page goes live with a link back to you.

How it works
01
Send the facts

Specs, price, free option, links, one official video and a clean screenshot. The form takes about ten minutes.

02
We verify

Every field is checked against your product page, manual or pricing page. Anything we cannot source stays off the page rather than being guessed.

03
Live, with a Verified badge

Your page goes live with tagged links back to you and a Verified chip. Send price or version changes any time and we update the page and its check date.

What a listing includes

A page producers can act on

Every plugin page carries the verified specs, the current price with the date we checked it, the free option, the producers on record using it, up to three videos, related plugins, and links to your product page, manual and site.

Links to your site are tagged utm_source=wavs, so the directory shows up as its own source in your analytics and you can see what it sends you.

  • Specs
Formats, systems, Apple silicon, authorization, version, presets, CPU load, learning curve
  • Price
Current price with the date we checked it, plus the free option: trial, demo or free tier
  • In a session
What producers use it for, where it sits in the chain, and the plugins it pairs with
  • Producers on record
Named only with a citable interview, session video or endorsement, linked to their directory page
  • Videos
Up to three: an official walkthrough plus the best independent reviews
  • Links
Product page, manual and developer site, tagged so you can see the traffic
  • Developer page
Every plugin you have in the directory on one page, linked from each of them, with a link to your site
What we need from you

Ten minutes and the facts, straight from your own pages

We publish what we can verify. Each field below is checked against your product page, manual or pricing page, so send the URL where the fact lives and we will do the rest.

The basics
  • Plugin name and developer
  • Category, and whether it is an instrument or an effect
  • Formats (VST3, AU, AAX, CLAP, standalone) and operating systems
  • Apple silicon native or Rosetta
  • Latest version and its release date, plus the year it first shipped
Price and free option
  • Price in USD and the URL where it is published
  • Price model: one-time, subscription, rent-to-own, free or freemium
  • Trial, demo or free tier, with its limits: "30-day trial", "Demo with periodic muting"
Words and pictures
  • About: up to 120 words on what it does, no superlatives. We edit for house style
  • One sentence on what it sounds like
  • One official YouTube video
  • A PNG screenshot of the UI, 1400px wide, 16:10, no marketing frame
The standard

Editorial, not pay-to-list

The directory is useful to producers because every page is held to the same bar, whoever made the plugin.

  • Listing is free. Placement is not for sale.

Staff picks and shelves are chosen by the WAVS team. A listing is never conditional on buying anything.

  • We verify against you, not about you.

Your product page, manual and pricing page are the sources. Reviews, forums and our own pages are not.

  • Empty beats wrong.

A field we cannot source reads "Not listed". We would rather show a gap than a guess, and you can fill it by claiming the page.

  • Producer names need a source.

A producer is only listed with a specific interview, session video or endorsement we can cite. A thumbnail is not a source.

  • We write the page.

Copy follows the directory house style. You correct facts; we keep the voice consistent across every plugin.

  • Prices age in public.

Each page prints the date the price was checked. Tell us when it changes and we update the page and the date.

Already listed?

Claim your page

If your plugin is already in the directory, claim the page from a work email at your domain. Once we have confirmed the specs with you, the page carries a Verified badge, and you can send price changes, new versions and trial links any time.

What claiming gets you
  • A Verified chip on your card and page
  • Corrections to any spec, straight from you
  • Your trial or demo link in the free option
  • Price and version updates whenever they change
  • Tagged links so the directory shows up as a source in your analytics

Ready when you are
