FL's FM synth, the classic source for FM bells and harder-edged 808s.
Source Jahlil Beats (Meek Mill, Lil Wayne, Future, Drake), Image-Line's own artist page, answering how he started with FL Studio: "Then I gradually started to create my own sound. The Sytrus plugin was my go to." The quote is retrospective about developing his early sound rather than a current-workflow claim, and the page names no specific record. Image-Line's artist interview pages also quote the others by name. Dion Timmer: "I still use Harmor and Sytrus for about 90% of my synthesizing. They have a unique sound and run super smooth." Porter Robinson: "I'm programming a majority of my bass sounds with Sytrus and 3xOSC." Brooks describes a bassline built from "some Sytrus, which is also FL Studio". Timmer and Robinson are electronic and bass producers rather than trap. CloZee, Murphy Kid, Savant, SeamlessR, Zardonic, Maor Levi and Owsey also mention Sytrus on their Image-Line artist pages.
Drums, loops and one-shots from WAVS creators that sit next to Sytrus in a session.
