808 Mafia is an American production and songwriting collective founded in 2010 by Southside (Joshua Luellen) and Lex Luger, later joined by TM88 as a core member. The name references the Roland TR-808 drum machine. The group formed when Waka Flocka Flame assembled a production team from his frequent collaborators, signing them to his Brick Squad Monopoly label. Their roster has included Fuse 100, Tarentino, Tray Sav, Purps, Swede, Nonstop Da Hitman, and MP808.

The collective released their self-titled instrumental mixtape in 2012 via Trap-A-Holics, which TM88 credits as the first producer-led beat tape mixtape to gain major traction online. Their production credits span Future's DS2 and Monster, Young Thug's Barter 6, Travis Scott's Astroworld ("No Bystanders"), Lil Uzi Vert, Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka Flame, and Kanye West and Jay-Z's Watch the Throne ("Illest Motherfucker Alive"). TM88 co-produced Lil Uzi Vert's "XO Tour Llif3" and multiple tracks across Future's catalog.

808 Mafia's influence extends beyond their direct credits through affiliated producers who have adopted and evolved the collective's aggressive trap template. German producers CuBeatz and PVLACE both connected with the group, expanding its European reach. The collective's signature tag, a pitched voice saying "808 Mafia," precedes some of the most impactful trap records of the 2010s.
