Hi-Tek is an American record producer born Tony Cottrell on May 5, 1976, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He gained recognition as half of Reflection Eternal with Talib Kweli, whose 2000 album Train of Thought is regarded as a landmark of underground hip-hop.

He has produced for Mos Def, Common, and 50 Cent, among others, and released the solo Hi-Teknology series. His work spans both underground and mainstream hip-hop.

His production is soulful and jazz-rooted, built from warm sample loops and crisp boom bap drums.
