Juicy J is an American record producer and rapper born Jordan Michael Houston on April 5, 1975, in Memphis, Tennessee. He co-founded the group Three 6 Mafia and produced much of the group's catalog.

With DJ Paul, he won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for 'It's Hard out Here for a Pimp' from the 2005 film Hustle & Flow. He later found solo success with the 2012 single 'Bandz a Make Her Dance.'

His production is rooted in the dark, eerie Memphis sound, built on ominous samples, heavy bass, and hard drums.
