RZA is an American record producer born Robert Fitzgerald Diggs on July 5, 1969, in Brooklyn, New York. He is the founder and chief producer of the Wu-Tang Clan, whose 1993 debut Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) is regarded as one of the most influential hip-hop albums.

He produced much of the Wu-Tang Clan's catalog and its members' solo albums, including Liquid Swords and Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. He has also composed music for film, including scores and soundtrack work.

His production is raw and cinematic, built from dusty soul loops, kung-fu film dialogue, and off-kilter, lo-fi drums. The gritty, sample-based aesthetic became the foundation of the Wu-Tang sound.
