Shellback is a Swedish record producer and songwriter born Karl Johan Schuster on March 16, 1985, in Karlshamn, Sweden. He rose to prominence collaborating with Max Martin, co-producing hits for Pink and Taylor Swift.

He co-wrote and produced Taylor Swift singles including 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' and 'Shake It Off,' and has worked with Maroon 5 and Adam Lambert, among others across pop.
